Message to [My Company]'s President

I decided I should probably delete this post, because of current things going on at work... don't want to add fuel to the fire. Though should the worst happen, I'll put it back and then some.

I'll write more soon, I promise.

Hi Meera,
Couple thoughts: you are implying that your company is intentionally planning to overcharge the government, which is fraud. I'm pretty sure this wasn't stated at your meeting and is likely to offend "john" and have your letter relegated to the "nutjob" bin.

Take out references to the $500 hammer. Start from the assumption that your company can offer a needed service/product to the military at a reasonable price.

Then narrow down your objections to that business plan: 1)you are a pacifist in general; 2)you oppose the current war in specific; 3)you appreciate the social conscious of the company.

Keep it brief and assume honorable intentions. My 2 cents.

Very very good points. Thank you. You're very right. I still haven't sent it, but I did want to get it on paper.
